Bussia er største mark eller subzone i Monforte kommune. Her ligger Fenocchios familievingård på toppen af et stykke på ca. 6,5 hektar formet som et amfiteater. Her produceres hovedparten af gårdens vine, herunder signaturbaroloen - det var her Fenocchio-familien begyndte at dyrke vin for 5 generationer siden.
"Fenocchio's Bussia plot is within the Sottana part of one of the biggest MGAs. His traditional style enchanced here by graceful aromas of milk and mint, dried cherry, rose and chalky minerality. The attack is firm but the wine flows with amazing freshness and balance, despite significant extraction. A kind of glycerol layer runs over the palate, with a sweetness to the tannic finish.
